How good is Aviary?
I'm considering getting myself avatarized, but I though it would be cool if I could figure it out myself.
The problem is, my computer isn't good enough to run photoshop(as if I could afford it anyway), and I hate gimp from my experience with it.
Has anyone used aviary, and if so, could I reasonably be expecting to be able to do this. I just want to know before I start working on it if I could do it, or if I'm better off just asking one of the avatizers on here.

It's really simple for me who started out for myself, ultimately being asked by my collegues and friends. A few examples of my work can be found in my album "Photoshop modifications". A photo takes me in average of 1-2 hours.
