Organic materials decay MUCH faster than Synthetic ones and both are made of natually occuring substances. The only advantage organic material has is its ability to self-repair. Which is exactly what we do when we replace the cables. Repair them.

Geological activity could theoretically naturally form a latticework of connected copper and gold veins of a similar structure to what the trees created in Avatar.

Don't get me wrong here. I don't think in the real-world it is even concevably possible that such a structure exists. But WERE a Gaia to exist and be sapient I think that those sorts of structures are the most likely form that its neural pathways would take.

I would like to see JC fill out Pandora's ecosystem and explore the planet quite a bit more before moving on to other planets.

I think he's smart enough to finish what he started before making a whole new planet.

The concept of other alien life apart from Pandora would have an interesting in-universe effect. Now Pandora is off the headlines, its this new race/planet around some other star thats the centre of people attention. With public attention distracted this could allow RDA or the government to rush through some changes to the mission on Pandora or be especially hard on the Na'vi knowing that the public woudn't pick up on it

Exostrike, always scheming aren't you, LOL.

I would think that JC will introduce us to the Pandoran oceans in episode 2 with possible life forms and vistas to expand our view of the moon. We may meet another Na'vi like species or offshoot that affects our hero and family. This close relative, maybe a water breather, may be warlike so DeMouse's dream can come true. I do believe that there is going to be drama, probably with the return of the RDA, so Exostrike gets his wish. But I do think he is going to flesh out Eywa and then I will get my wish, woohoo!

I think that having a water breathing Na'vi is not a good idea. Not that couldn't work, but you do have to contend with the hundreds of little mermaid jokes.
