Yeah, I thought James Cameron would name it Na'vi - sounds pretty good. Wonder what the third movie would be called... xD Anyway, back on topic.

It should be called "Avatar II: Eywa's Revenge".
SOONER OR LATER, THOUGH, YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO WAKE UP.
there is a give and take between creativity and marketing. I honestly think that "Avatar" is an idea and not a corporeal body. Besides, you need to cater to the lowest common denom when marketing ideas so I am fairly confident that Avatar will be in the title. Those who don't come to this board or others like it may not relate to it being called Na'vi or Return to Pandora independently. Think of Terminator. Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines. Avatar: "X" just makes more sense from a creative and marketing standpoint. Jake may be permanently linked with his Avatar but it is still an Avatar. Avatar is what we relate to.
Met, talked to, and made [NAVI="Yes"]James Cameron[/NAVI] laugh.
Yeah, I doubt they'll change it from anything beyond Avatar 2: [insert title]. From a marketing standpoint, it won't make sense to the masses if they named it something beyond that. And as we saw from the sales of the first one, this movie appeals to the masses, lol.
either Avatar:Pandora's Pride or Avatar:Pride of Pandora.
awesome sig courtesy of Ney's Photographer,Prowler.
"Avatar 2" is good; at least that should be in the title. I hope the sequel, if it's made, is not called "Na'vi", because, no offense, but it's a really lame title.
