The time travel in Avatar sequels

We know that Time travel is behind of one of the most known of the James Cameron´s movies: Terminator.


Could TIME TRAVEL be the cause behind of the HUMAN look of the NA´VI and of the INTELLIGENT DESIGN of PANDORA?


If not this, maybe the NA´VI and the human have common sources. if none of both things is finally in the sequels, i could´t understand the too close to the human look of the NA´VI. I think that it need to be explained.
