~ For some reason, the only way I can see how the humans left on Pandora will survive is by becoming a part of the People. Being that the second film will take place several years after the first, it can only be presumed that all of the scientists, Avatar drivers, etc have undergone the same procedure that Jake went through. Though that's my take on what may happen.

Jake's case was special and unique. I think it should stay like that and not something everyone can just do. Moreover, I think most of the humans who stay, still have family or friends at home and would like to return to earth later (maybe with a "cure" for the environment). And they have healthy bodies.
There was a fanfiction where Jake offered Norm to do the "transfer", but he answered that he wanted to keep his human body.
It will indeed be a problem to survive because it will be difficult to keep Hell's Gate operational with just a few scientists.

The only main questions I have are what do the "sky people" do now, and what are the underwater oceans like.

I have some things I'd like to see. Quaritch back, more Thanator, more exploration on Pandora, and a little bit more emphasis on how Earth really looks like in 2154.

I predict Quaritch will be back, because at the start of the movie in the extended cut, the lady on the projection tv in jake's apartment talks about cloning bengal tigers, so cloning is very common in that future. Foreshadowing anyone?
