I hope it won't happened... Arnold is a good actor, but he doesn't fit in Avatar 2 or 3 in my eyes...

No, he just doesn't fit.
R. Lee Ermey who was the drill instructor from Full Metal Jacket. He'd fit into Avatar as a character.YouTube - ‪Full Metal Jacket Clip‬‏
He'd make one cool character as either a Na'vi or human.
Um, no...
It means "Wind Rider" in Na'vi.

Arnold is a great actor and I’ve really wanted to see a comeback, but his acting style/personality is not right for Avatar. I just wouldn’t see him fitting into any type of role for this film. Quite honestly I like the fact that Avatar wasn’t packed with a bunch of names and I would hate to see the sequels become nothing more than box office hype. The way James Cameron did the casting for Avatar in the first place is one of the many reasons why this movie is as great as it is. Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana basically two unknowns were born to play Jake and Neytiri. The sort of magic that they brought to the table needs to be repeated and then some with any new characters. When you have a beloved movie and you add characters to it in sequential stories you could end up destroying something very special. With that said; if he does place Arnold in one of the sequels I’m sure he’ll make it as seamless as possible. I’ll be honest I was excited to see James Cameron and Arnold talking because I would love to see more Terminator films, but thinking that it could be Avatar related kinda scares me… The list of Hollywood actors and actresses celebrities and the like not right for Avatar is very long.
To name a few:
Justin Bieber (Please dear God no!)
Angelina Jolie
Brad Pit
Tom Cruise
Halle Berry
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Jim Carry
Ben Affleck
Jennifer Lopez
Lindsay Lohan
Johnny Depp
I have a list that goes on into the thousands. I hold such a high standard that practically no one in Hollywood is qualified to participate in Avatar.

You can add Robert Pattinson to that list as well...
Basically, Avatar wouldn't be Avatar without the actors that were jired. It's like the perfect storm of actors and actresses. You get that with good movie series, for example:
for Avatar you have a cast of mostly unknown or fairly known actors with one or two really well-known actors (Sigourney Weaver).
In Star Wars, there were mainly unknowns save for perhaps Harrison Ford (who had starred in American Graffiti also by George Lucas, another movie you should check out) and Ian McGuiness (who didn't care for the series, pretty sad there).
In Lord of the Rings, you had quite a few unknowns who would later get more pubilicity (Orlando Bloom was one), and a smattering of fairly knowns (like Rhys-Davis, who is known from Sliders and a few other shows), and a couple of well-knowns (Ian MacKellan, and Christopher Lyold).
All in all, all good movies rely on excellent casting. If Cameron is going to go with anyone in the next Avatar I would like to see him team up with his usual cast:
~Bill Paxton
~Micheal Biehn
~Lance Henriksen (who wants to see Bishop as an Avatar?)

What I respect about Arnold is his ability to take over a scene and say his next move, without saying a word. On the flip-side, this has also been a weakness, because over the years, its always landed him in familiar roles. I believe, even at his age, he's marketable, and would fit perhaps in a support role. I could see him, as a clan leader, and not necessarily as a human. His role would not necessarily be adversarial but perhaps one of support.
He reminds me of another actor, Kurt Russell, who starred in one of my favorite films "Soldier". Kurt took this predictable popcorn flick, and offered one of his best acting roles ever. I'm waiting for Schwarzenegger to find a role like that.
Solider was directed by one of my favorite directors Paul Anderson. Paul takes these average budget, sci-fi thrillers and does his best with the available story. You may know him from all the "Resident Evil" movies, AVP, and Death Race. These were all predictable sci-fi thrillers, but every once in a while, one allows the actors to shine past the story.
Case in point takes me back to the 1997 thriller "Event Horizon". Written by Liam Howlett, a writer in the first Matrix movie, starring Lawrence Fishburne and Sam Neill. Both leads actors did a superb job with this dark, horror, sci-fi thriller, which is still one of my favorite top-10 movies.
Arnold needs a role like that. A role that takes him away from the predictable and comfortable roles of the past. I have to imagine many popular actors would love a piece of the Avatar franchise, even a small one. It would look great on their resume. Not speaking for JC, but I believe he knows this as well and will first turn to his friends for possible roles in Avatar 2. Arnold is one of his close friends.
An Arnold Schwarzeneger in an Avatar body. Thats a potent mix. Give me the goose bumps... hmm arnie has so much excess baggage from his previous roles he's typecast in titanium steel... A ten foot tall blue "Navii'neger"? If handled correctly that might be pretty cool if not it's gonna be ludicrous. But if anyone can pull it off it would be J.C.
One of the reasons Avatar worked so well was the deliberate choice not overwhelm the film with big budget, high profile actors. Sigourney Weaver was perhaps the biggest name in the film and she played a perfect character role that didn't interfere with the audience's immersion into the new world. Same thing worked so well with the first Star Wars film, where Alec Guinness stood alone as the biggest name and even he was new to the many younger viewers at that time. Using Arnold would create an unwanted distraction. Frankly the question "who is the bad guy this time around" is in itself a narrow view of what the sequels could be.

Well, to think of it now, I'm wondering if Arnold should just have a slight cameo role, coming up to Jake and saying "good luck" before walking away from him, sort of an homage to his roles in Cameron's films... Though thinking of that, I now think Micheal Biehn would be better suited to that.
