Mayhaps not, the RDA or SECFORS may be more interested in finding out about why and how someone could just "infiltrate" and become Na'vi. Or maybe it's better to understand Pandora and why it reacted by talking to the people who would know it best: The Na'vi.

It's becoming kinda clear to me that the RDA isn't quite finished with Pandora yet.
It means "Wind Rider" in Na'vi.

somehow,i just can't see the evil rda hydra sitting down and having a townhall meeting with the People of the Omaticaya Clan. they'd rather scorch the ground and murder the natives, then bring out the unobtanium by whatever means necessary and savagely destroying the beautiful forest and Floating Mountains as payback.

awesome sig courtesy of Ney's Photographer,Prowler.

Pretty much this. As was being discuessed in the "Nuke em from orbit" thread before it got WAY off topic and was locked, if the RDA wanted the unobtainium at any cost then the most cost-effective way for them to do it would be to level a few forests with hydrogen bombs.

You have a good point there, but I'm going to err on the thought that the RDA may want to know their enemy more. To know your enemy is to better understand them... But then again we are talking about a bunch of folks who didn't give a flying nut about "sacred trees", so they're probably just a bunch of idiots who wouldn't - no, COULN'T understand the neural processes of a giant mother-planet with a sophisicated intelilect.

But I wouldn't call it pass them to send off some Marines out into the woods.
