Avatar 2 - nuke the site from orbit?
as a more 'traditional' counterfoil to my highly controversial RETURN TO EARTH suggestion -- and I don't like the way Jake and his blue buddies allowed the survivors to return to their ship -- will the RDA Corporation give the okay to "NUKE THE SITE FROM ORBIT" at the start of Avatar 2?
Is that why there's speculation that Avatar 2 'goes underwater'? Are we going to see Cameron's glowing undersea aliens from THE ABYSS?

The nuking from orbit theory has been discussed already. No, they wouldn't, because:
1. It is highly illegal.
2. It would almost certainly increase the cost and effort required to reach unobtanium.
3. It wouldn't make a very good sequel, would it?
As for why Jake and the Na'vi let the RDA leave, they had surrendered, and detaining them would be a nightmare. Killing them would be mass murder and the Na'vi aren't into that kind of thing.

I could imagine the 'nuke the site from orbit' start to Av2 where all the Hallelujah mountains come crashing down to Pandora.
My reason for the NTSFO idea was, maybe this is why Av2 goes UNDERSEA ... I'm not sure if it's valid at all ... I'm just daydreaming, looking for some sort of inspiration.
