I'm also voting for Horner & Zimmer together (I just love Hans Zimmer's work- my latest musical obsession, aside from the Avatar soundtrack, is the Sherlock Holmes soundtrack XD ). I'd also like to see Dead Can Dance write a song for the sequel, it's a shame they split up so long ago.

I'm always reminded of Avatar when I listen to this.. Short but sweet YouTube - Two Steps From Hell - Love & Loss (wait till 1:05, then it really kicks in)

Idk about all the composers but Ill say this. The music definitely was not up to par with the movie. It fit reasonably well and didnt detract from the experience but it didnt add much for me either. The current tracks is not something that some random joe will recognize walking down the street its just kind of "there" and while I say this if I heard it I could point out exactly what I would like to see done, but currently Im no good at composing lol.

I would like to see the music be a little more prominant, add to the movie more.

It will most likely be James Horner. He has the experience with those unique "tribal" instruments, and seems to be the composer for almost all of James Cameron's films.
