nice!even if JC went with 48fps,it's still double the resolution of screenshots from the original film,but i'd much prefer if he stuck to his guns,and went with 60fps. hell yeahhh!

yeah, 60fps will give us good screen shots, but won't it also mean bigger file sizes? Blu-ray might be able to cover it on one disc but can DVD?

actually I think that 60fps is the normal standard in 2016. but that is just me. I hope JC is going for 90fps![]()

Higher framerates solve many of the 3D panning shots judder issues in digital cinema 3D projection, it makes a huge diffrence , the only negitive is our equipment at home I know is that HDMI 1.4 can not handle the bandwith required for 60 fps 1080P in 3D It can handle 720 P at 60 Fps HDMI is about to be replased with this is what will replace HDMI its called HDBaseT and will suport 4K detail Specification - HDBaseT
