i would like to see that New Life deleted scene as a finished/extended scene at the close of the third film, after rda is defeated for good, and Pandora moves on from it's human-inflicted misery. i believe that the Omaticayans may have some temporary life near the sea,but they are a forest People, there will be a new Kelutral.

i am excited to see some underwater 3D scenes and possibly a undersea battle with the rda? hmmm....

A new article about JC's deep dive: "Film director James Cameron leads submarine race to the bottom of the Mariana Trench". (Although I kind of wish he would delay it until he's finished filming the Avatar sequels! )

Interesting. I didn't realize that there was a competition to get to the bottom. Definitely adds to the danger as people racing with each other sometimes take on risks that they wouldn't otherwise. I wonder if Lloyd's of London is issuing an insurance policy on this trip.

I think it's cool that for all the technology we have we still can't go down to the farthest depths yet there is life down there

The organisms down there don't see the pressure down there like a submersible does. They're the same pressure on the inside as they are on the outside, so they're not fighting it. Those submersibles are intended to keep that environment from wreaking havoc on organisms adapted to far less pressure- humans.

If you bring a deep-sea organism up to the surface, the results aren't pretty either. They blow up like balloons.

Great points man, on the films I've seen it's cool seeing the biolume creatures it's almost like another world down deep.
