Did anyone notice Na'vi children?

Are there many scenes with children at the background?

Many times. When Jake is first allowed into Hometree, there are children reaching out to touch him. When Grace is allowed to visit the clan, they are kids running to greet her. The destruction of Hometree there are children running about. Basically anytime the clan is together, there are some children around. Their actually pretty cute lol. There is even a little baby after the destruction of Hometree being held by his mother as well.

when Jake arrives for the first time to Hometree there are about 10+ childs around.

One thing I'm confused about though. It's said that Sylwanin was Neytiri's older sister right? But that one girl (the oldest one in the pic) looks a lot like Neytiri and the girl next to her doesn't really look like her. Who is who? lol.

The interesting thing is that none of the kids actually had acting roles. This probably stems from the fact that it would be a pain in the ares to hook a kid up to the gear that cameron was using. But it would be nice to have a teenager in the story, I think.

There is at least one Na’vi child in the credits listed as Kyla Warren. Sometimes they are the children of members of the production team (especially for short non-speaking roles), other times they are actors.

I wonder why Kyla Warren was listed by name, given that none of the other people who played generic Na'vi in the background were listed by name. Anyone knows?

The older one would be Sylwanin, I guess, and Neytiri is the younger one. I never looked much like I do now when I was young either :ntongue:
