What do you guys think of maybe any of jake's family or any of neytiri's family (like other siblings if she has any) entering the picture in the sequels?
Just an idea I had. Any thoughts?...

I'd like to see Neytiri's two sisters appear in the sequels as actual characters and not just sit-in's next to Neytiri as they were singing at the Tree of Souls.

I dont think Neytiri had a sister. If Neytiri sister exist, She would appear in the first movie.
A daughter is more likely to show up.
I think that kids would complicate to movie too much.

Just because they didn't give a character airing time doesn't mean that they don't exist. Who is the two girls sitting in a line with Neytiri next to her standing mother and Tsu'Tey?
HERE IS SYLWANIN, (http://james-camerons-avatar.wikia.com/wiki/Sylwanin) one of Neytiri's sisters who narrates the story of Ryan Lorenz in the game.
Also if you look at the information box at the right of the page, under "Family information", it says "un-named sister" in the list. Also says that in the other wiki pages with Jake and Neytiri.
Once again, look to the movie scene where they are at the Tree of Souls and singing. Neytiri has two females sitting near her in a line.

Me too!!!! The beautifully high-pitch singing came from either one of them, I know this because the singing didn't match Neytiri's lips. I want to know more about the other princesses! :D

Hmmm, i ddnt notice that.
It seems they are younger since I don't see any necklace or other jewellery on them. I assume younge girls don't wear anything.

I think it would be interesting. But, does Jake even have any family left? I mean, his brother Tommy died...do we know of anyone else?

He said he had no family in the movie so it's safe to say he really had nothing to lose being a human.

That could be interesting. I personally picture Jake as kind of a loner on earth. I imagine he didn't have any other brothers or sisters and his parents have passed away - He was alone, in my mind. Prossibly in JCs too. I would like to see some more of Neytiri's family though.
//Maybe move to production/tech/and sequels.

I am not so sure about say, kids in a sequel. I find that when they come into the picture, the main characters become sort of bland and preoccupied as they should. But we still have so much to see of Neytiri and Jake, I feel as though kids should wait.

definitely agreed. this movie gets enough criticism for being cliche as it is. no need to bring in an even more cliched storyline.

family or not family.. it would be nice to have a larger Na'vi cast with much scenes in the Sequels :)
And of course would introducing unseen family members all a bit more interesting in my opinion. Well, lets see what happens in the end.

So Jake did say he had no family in the movie? I don't really remembering him saying that. I don't know, could be my sloppy memory though haha

Also, I'm pretty sure they are younger seeing as Grace said that Neytiri was next in line after Mo'at. They wouldn't give a younger sister that position.

:in-love:I've been wondering that. I think one of them might be older than her and the other might be younger than her. I never noticed that bit at the tree of souls. I only came across it today.
I would also love to see if Jake has an older sister and a niece. It would be great to see Jake and Neytiri start a family of their own.:in-love:

Apparently Sylwanin is older than Neytiri, but in one of the drafts it's stated that she died in front of Neytiri. I have no idea about the other sister, but maybe we can give her a name?

I was wondering about Jake's Parents, If they were still alive they could be forced to pay for the damages caused by Jake's betrayal. It might be a way trump card the RDA uses against Jake.

The 2007 shooting script of Avatar describes a scene at the end with a 'pregnant Neytiri':
NEYTIRI, obviously pregnant, is bow-fishing in the shallows.
Children jump and squeal with laughter in the river.
Cameron has mentioned that a lot of the cut material from the 90's scriptment and cut scenes will end up in the sequels... And since he wrote about it, I think it is a safe assumption that Neytiri will be pregnant in one of the films - most likely the next one.

I look forward to this storyline. I can't wait to see Jake's expression when the bomb is dropped on him. THAT WOULD cause me to ROFL and almost cry at the same time.
