I guess it also depends on how long you get to stay there...did anyone specify earlier? At any rate, I probably wouldn't go there unless I could stay there for at least a month. Five years tradeoff is quite a bit. For me, it also depends on whether or not you age in cryo. Ten years total is a lot (unless you get to stay there permanently...).

Happens all the time in Star Trek, why shouldn't it happen in this case. After thousands of years all humanoid species in the galaxy could be cross bred to a point where they all look, to some extent similar. Although the "Genetics" part may not work out. As humans use a double helix to carry they're genetic material, Na'vi however do not. Quite possibly due to the different atmosphere as the make of the aformentioned may have prevented the forming of nucleic acids.

Although an extensive study of the gentic similarities of both species may yield an answer.

I would live there no matter if Neytiri was there or not. Heck I would still live there even as a human and even if the Na'vi did not exist. A new fresh start, and so much exploring to do... the opportunities are endless.
Not to say our world does not have these qualities, but Pandora is just surreal, and the best part is every day there would be different... no 9-5 workdays.
