People where blown away buy Avatar so what do you think expectations will be? Will there be an even bigger war? Will main characters die, like Ney'tiri. What will Avatar II be like and will it be better or worse than Avatar?

I don't know how well another war will pan out for the Na'vi. It looks like the RDA will have no problem with bombing Pandora until Kingdom come.
I think that Avatar II can push it further with the death of a main character (as much as I hate to say it, it might even be Neytiri). But if you think about it, then that route will really be pushing the movie on that deep, emotional level.

Well Avatar has already been hit hard on an emotional level. So I won't be that surprised if a main character like Neytiri dies. but how will all that play up without the RDA returning to Pandora because I can't see a conflict between different clans on Pandora

There's already a trilogy spanning story arc of Jake and Neytiri. So no, Neytiri isn't dying anytime soon.
Also, from what I can guess is it will either be better than the original or just as good as it. It's hard to tell from this point as of now.

To me, the second movie will be better than the first, but I am concerned about the third and final movie. History hasn't been very nice on the third movies and I hope the same trend doesn't plague Avatar as well.

Generally the sequel of a masterpiece has a lower impact; Avatar is great and i don't expect too much from Avatar II (for sure not the same emotional earthquake) but i hope i am wrong.

Neytiri won't die.
I think (and hope!) Avatar 2 will be even better than Avatar 1, that it will be just as innovative, and beautiful, and really let us experience the world.

Well then, you'd better pop into some threads talking about Neytiri dying in the next Avatar, because we're having a crisis over there.
If Neytiri doesn't die, then at least something is going to happen to her (or Jake). Maybe she'll be kidnapped, and experimented on and then Jake has to rescue her. Or maybe she'll be given an ultimatum; sacrifice herself, or have Jake die (and somehow ends up with them both living, but both scarred emotionally in some way, perhaps an unrecoverable injury of some sort ).

Well I think Avatar II will be good it may not be the same but James Cameron knows what he is doing. I was really excited about Avatar before it came out because I am a huge fan of James Cameron's science fiction movies. I read a lot of negative comments online that were predicting Avatar to be an epic fail. Guess who go to say I told you so? Don't bet against James Cameron he knows what he is doing.

Avatar is not a war movie. Those who haven't noticed it, should purchase a new avatar ticket and watch it again. I am quite sure, in Avatar II we'll learn more about the Na'vi, their background and especially interactions (cultural, social, physical issues) between Na'vi and humans on a daylife level. As action elements we may see some more quarrel between stubborn RDA/army elements and Na'vi and a growing number of humans supporting them. I wouldnt wonder if at the end the RDA and may be even the (performance driven) neoliberal political/economical system on earth will be overthrown by riots or/and with Na'vi influence. I am quite sure that at the end of the last sequel, life on earth will be way different as it was in 2154.
