Avatar Fan-made Art, Stories and Creations

Hi guys,

I love the fanart and fanfiction section, it's my favourite part of the forums and I'm glad for all the work put into it!

I do notice though that there is so much creativity on the board, and it goes beyond just artworks and storywriting. Sometimes I see people constructing Avatar video games, web graphics (sigs / avatars), Avatar soundtrack mixes and stuff like that. These fall out of the category of "fanart" and "fanfiction" but I think they are definitely part of that fan-made creative environment.

Maybe this section can be re-named to represent that?
Some ideas:

Avatar Fan-Made Art, Stories and Creations
Avatar Fan-Made Creations
Avatar Creative Projects

And the description will still be there to clarify what the area is about.

Any thoughts? Hate, like?

I'm not entirely opposed to the idea, now that we know what sort of things the community likes to create and share. Upon first glance of this thread, it looked like you were proposing the creation of sub forums- which I believe are unnecessary. However, now that I see you are talking about a simple name change, I like the idea. :)

I support this suggestion, especially if costuming becomes incorporated there.

I prefer the term "Avatar Fan Creations" and the thread description could list the types of mediums used, whether it's art, fiction, videos, music, or costumes.

I totally forgot about the costuming aspect too. Yeah that would be another good reason to rename it, finally give cosplay a home.
