I just love Family Guy. Its a very funny humor in my opinion. The first and the second season havent been that good but then it was getting funnier and funnier.
Although sometimes they re overdoing things in my opinion i really enjoy watching it.

It's funny enough, but the characters have just become massively exaggerated versions of what were originally much more balanced (and Brian is just a way to get across the writers' political views)

Also, the annoyingly long jokes. If I can go out of the room, get a drink and come back, it's too long.

Yes i know what you mean. But most of thems are funny to me though. Although i dont know the newest episodes and stuff, the latest saison translated is season 6. I love Stewie, love how he developed :D
In the first two seasons he was just evil and then he got very aloquated, still evil but most dont take him serious. I love that

Hmm, like i said already, i dont know the newest stuff so this might be wrong:

But
1. Stewie developed into a way better direction than he was at the beginning. He was just evil. But not in a funny way or something. He was just trying to kill lois. Didnt seem very funny to me. Now he s still evil but in a way i can laugh about. Just for example when he s making fun of brians novel. He just doesnt stop. So funny xD (just to me of course)
2. Peter was always quite the same, he just got more idiotic but i still like it.
3. Couldnt make some great change out with brian going on.
4. So with lois and the kids. They changed a bit but not that much. Didnt notice anything bad actually.

However, it s all about ur own humor and taste, isnt it? ;)

Wonder when Family Guy will do a take on Avatar like they did with star Wars.

In my opinion;

Season 1 - A bit crappy
Season 2 - Getting funnier
Season 3 - Funnier still
Seasons 4 & 5 - Peak seasons
Season 6 - Humour gets a bit crass but still funny
Season 7 - Humour even more crass but funnier than Season 6
Season 8 - Humour is tacky, Running out of ideas

Hopefully Season 9 will bring it back up again...

Ok, here's one for you.

There's an episode where Peter goes to the company picnic and they play a game where they have to escape Mr. We ed who has a tranquiliser gun. when he shouts "Go!" and everybody runs off, Stewie says to Lois "Look, he runs like a Welshman. Doesn't he? Doesn't he run like a Welshman?".

I really don't get that joke at all... what do we run like? :nlol:
