If you haven't read them, I highly recommend the series!

I read those words and was hooked. I tore through The Gunslinger in a few hours and then took my time enjoying the rest of the series.

Have you read the comics yet? They feature a younger Roland and his first Ka-tet.

The Dark Tower is my utmost favourite book series ever. After finishing, I read a couple of other novels and then had to go back and start the series, again XD.

I've been reading the comics, aye. They're quite enjoyable. I've only read the first two sets of comics, The Gunslinger Born & The Long Road Home. Yet to start on those remaining.

I've been meaning to collect all the comics aka graphic novels but haven't gotten around to it yet.

JJ Abrams (director of the TV series Lost) is supposed to start work on The Dark Tower series after Lost wraps up, which is this year! I'm half excited and half dreading a movie version of the series.

Also, at Stephen King.com there is a new game called Discordia based on the Dark Tower books. You have to sign up to play it. I haven't gotten too deep into the game so I don't know if it's very good but I'd say check it out if your a Dark Tower junkie.

Not sure what'll happen there but I think the DT deserves a group.

They are all great books and Ive been collecting the comics as well; all very deep and very cool. I love how so much of the Dark Tower series is ingrained with his other books like The Stand, The Talisman, Black House, and IT just to name a couple.
