Spectacular Avatar Wallpapers!

Hello everyone,

For about a month now, I have been creating a slew of high-quality and spectacular Avatar wallpapers. On top of that, I have used my web developing abilities to create a wonderful site to showcase my creations.

Currently, my site contains the following:

-18x wallpapers. Each wallpaper has 9 resolutions to choose from, including 1080p!
-A PS3 Theme that contains 9 of the 16 wallpapers (more will be added later)

Me too! I 've got a folder with hundreds of Avatar pics. They help me soothe the pain of being away from the movie - just like this forum does.

lookin good, my man. Can I make a request/ suggestion? What about more RDA/RDA style wallpapers as well? You got ALOT of Avatar-Jake and Na'Vi Characters (big part of movie, i know) but there's a whole nother aspect too. Just sayin, lookin good thus far.

My wallpaper setup consist of all 25 wallpapers evenly distributed between both my monitors (Monitor #1 = wallpapers 1,3,5,etc...Monitor #2 = wallpapers 2,4,6,etc). The wallpapers will automatically switch each 30 minute interval. To achieve this...I'm using "Display Fusion" :)

It'd be nice to have 1920x1200 (normal "computer" resolution) so we don't have to stretch the 1920x1080 ;)

1920x1200 is a resolution I haven't seen before to be honest. 1920x1080 is usually as large as it goes.

I'll make a couple in 1920x1200 and monitor the rate at which their downloaded and see how popular the resolution is. If it doesn't catch on, I may not continue it because 9 resolutions is a bit of a task as it is.

BUG REPORT

I have found a bug with the new rating system I have implemented. The logic has a flaw in it and will take some figuring out to get it working fully. In the meantime, you may still submit ratings, that part of it is working fine. Once I get this bug fixed, I'll let you know asap :)

I've created a simple PHP document that gathers wallpaper download information. After reviewing the information, I'm going to be discontinuing the 1280x960 resolution.

Is it just me or do you have fewer wallpapers up there than before? And it's a little confusing at first like each time you click on a name its a check mark to bring up that set but also all the others you checked but you can't see any marks.

Edit: I think I know what you meant...I made a small modification. The dropbox now "holds" the name of the selected wallpaper category.

P.S. I just looked, all 27 wallpapers are being shown on my screen. To be sure however, if you don't mind, can you check if you're viewing the following amounts:

-Jake: 5x wallpapers
-Neytiri: 4x wallpapers

You no doubt. The JPEG versions are roughly half the size of the PNG files. I personally don't see much of a difference though, which is why I decided to switch. I didn't want to release low-quality wallpapers, so I think you should be ok making the switch to JPEG :)

Also, speaking of quality, I'm very interested to see how much of a difference the Blu-ray wallpapers will be ;)

Under each thumbnail, there's a dropbox that reads "Resolution". Clicking on that will reveal all available resolutions. Simply clicking on the resolution that applies to you will start the download.

That's something I don't control. You'll have to go into your browser's options and find out where your files are being downloaded to.

That's something I don't control. You'll have to go into your browser's options and find out where your files are being downloaded to.

Wow. I've never, ever, seen any type of download system like this. It's quite odd.
Normally, the page loads up the image resolution right then and there, then I simply save it manually to my files.
Anyway, if I can't find a way now, I think I'll try Google Chrome like you suggested.

The problem is all fixed now.
I was using Internet Explorer and it didn't work at all so I did what you suggested and downloaded Google Chrome. And it worked!
I am very sorry for pestering you about all this. But you finally helped me fix my problem and now have access to ALL your awesome images!!!

On my paper her face is more towards the camera. So pretty!

Cool you put them also in 1600*900 because that seems to be one of the more rare screen resolutions and I always have to cut and crop them myself to fit on my monitor.

As you may have noticed, however, I haven't made any new wallpapers as of late. The reason for this is I'm currently working on a photography site for a friend of mine. I'm not sure when I'll be done, but I should be back to making more wallpapers afterward.
