Absolutely beautiful piece of writing.
I loved the flashforward of them playing around and kissing.
Recommend this to anyone who looks at this topic.

A beautiful and very well written scene, this is the sort of thing I'd love to see in an Avatar novel one day. It's great that they expanded greatly on the piece from the scriptment and did it such a wonderful way.

Thanks alot for sharing this :nparty:!

Yes , very very beautiful, thank you for sharing.

I can also recommend the story "A New Life Begins" from the same author. Just click on his name to find it.
It takes place directly after the movie when Jake opens his eyes.

That's quite a good one aswell, not as good as the one linked in the OP mind. Although I suppose that one is completely written from scratch, where as the other is loosely based on the scriptment. It certainly gives some ideas for the sequel :ntongue:.

Wow, I read that one and couldn't help but read the other 3 stories by this author. They were all amazing!

Just... WOW! Perfect. I had read in another thread about the pattern on their body changing... Can't say I paid it any attention in the theater. Did anyone see this or was this just made up for the story?

That was... really beautiful. Amazing.

I'm not usually someone who reads fanfic, but that was how it SHOULD be, really exploring Neytiri's feelings and it just shares the whole beauty of Pandora.

I used to read the script from time to time and my favourite part has always been the mating scene. Unfortunately it's not very detailed (and not shown in the movie :nsad:), but now I discovered this beautiful piece of writing (thx for sharing btw) and can't stop reading it. Amazing!

i know this is a big BUMP...but i just read this story today, and wow,it really does put you in that scene. i love that it shows the emotion/thought pov of Neytiri,as she is truly the emotional draw of this film. well written, and thank you for giving me some more intimate details of this scene,as i felt that scene had needed a little something more.

It's pretty good, thanks for sharing (: I like how we get into Neytiri's thoughts and see how she feels.

However, I have to point out that the spelling of the Na'vi words kinda disturbed me, particularly the title. Well, I guess it's a bit picky, but I just couldn't help bugging every time there was a mistake xD I find it's a shame when the beautiful style of a text is disturbed by the spelling of specific terms.
