So I made a custom avatar of Parker Selfridge and I can see it in my User CP but it doesn't appear when I make a post. thoughts?

What you uploaded was a profile picture, not an avatar. A profile picture shows up on your profile for people to see when they visit your page. An avatar is what people see whenever you post. On this forum, you cannot have an avatar until you reach 50 posts.
