It recently occured to me that when ever i visit my home page the first five or six friends that i see are randomly rearranged everytime I visit my page.
It is actually pretty inconvienent, i have a significant amount of people on my friends list and everytime i want to PM someone or visit there page i have to search through my entire friends list.
I just figured that if it's not hard to do, you could make it so that we could permanently save the order of our first few friends so that we didn't have to look through our entire stack of friends :)

I don't think this is a feature built in to vBulletin- so it would most likely be remedied by a third party plugin, if such exists.

I agree, it is also inconvenient for me. I'd like to make that instant 4 or five friends permanent, and changeable through option. :)

Yeah, its not terribly annoying, but it would be so much more convienant, if i could save like the first 4.
What did you mean about the plug in thing? where would i download one?

yeah, whenever i try to see whats going on, i have to click the button then scroll, instead of having like my 6 most active friends.

so basically the easiest thing to do then is to have less friends

Yah, it randomises your friends unstead of listing who was there first, or most active etc.
Yah, we'll i dont want to delete anyone because none have done anything worth getting deleted, and its not like there just random people

The software the forum is running allows board administrators to download plugins/modifications from a third-party website to enable features not already built into the software.
But like I said, only the admins can do it, since they have to install the plugin on the board, which requires access to the administrative panel and database.

Exactly, i agree. That should be how it would work, but you know, it ultimately doesn't matter. I still have these great people as my friends, and they are worth the 20 seconds, definitely. :)

Oh no, i know! And i agree :), but just saying...
If the system ends up staying the same, to me, it's not a big deal. :)

See? We're not so different, you and I... :P
As for this topic, I really have no opinion one way or the other on this.
(Yes, it is possible for me to not have an opinion, lol)
