I had started to watch it when it was airing on Showtime here in australia, that was until i got rid of the Showtime package =/
Been considering to buy the first season on DVD.

I am the HUGEST True Blood fan in the world! I absolutely LOVE the show. I'm not sure I agree 100% that the second season was better than the first. The 2nd season had some things that just dragged on a bit (MaryAnn? Hello!), and the first was just perfect. I loved Rene! Though the second did give us some truly inspired character plots (Jason and the LOD!)
