I made some wallpapers from the HD version of the trailer!
You should note that if there was some technology in the scene I removed it because I love Pandora more than any piece of tech! :D
All wallpapers are in 1680x1050.

They are all great pics, I save them, give them a name, but when I I put them up as wallpaper/background then the quality isn't good unless I take it off full screen. I'm afraid that that IS the quality of those Full HD videos. That is the maximum quality anyone can get (unless you work with JC)... They were filmed like that.

OK, we have a same problem. it's because we are from asia or maybe just like that, i'm from indonesia and you from singapore. and how to see it, just use free proxy, USA or CA or anything else. i use HotSpot Shield to gain USA IP and Tadaaa. i can see that picture. basically your IP connect to VPN (Virtual Private Network) HotSpot Shield. this technique i use too watch latest Heroes episode Online from NBC, it works any time :rotfl:

This is one of the downsides of having triple monitors. My desktop is 3328 pixels wide, so only images sourced from the super high rez stills (which is awesome of them) provided on the avatarmovie.com website look good. "HD" 1920x1080 doesn't even come close, and still looks to soft.

Of course getting them to span across my laptop & 2 external monitors is a jigsaw puzzle of it's own...

What I really want is a nice big wide shot of Pandora's forest at night (with the Bioluminescence), maybe with Jake and Neytiri in there (subtly, not super prominently) too.

Mikko: Your giant wallpaper is all chopped up into pieces with clearly visible seams all over the image, you should do some retouching and blend them better into eachother and with the background and clone in some clouds and mist into that pic and it will look a lot better than it does now.

The image looks like a big jigsaw yes, but once displayed on my computer it's seamless.
