View Full Version : AVATAR 3D - The Hollywood Experience!!!

Hello Avatar Forums members and Avatar fans worldwide. As you might have guessed, I'm a big fan of JC's work. After watching Avatar twice in Imax 3D and once in regular 3D, I have decided to see it really at the center of its creation, Hollywood, CA. I'm blessed to live in Southern California that has offered me this opportunity. So tomorrow I will be seeing it at the famous and historical Cinerama Dome in Hollywood. This legendary theater has been a leading innovator in screen projection technology (three camera projection system one of three in the world) and for the first time it has installed the 3D system for Avatar. James Cameron was invited here last week and led a question and answer session with the audience (source variety.com) where among other things he officially announced Avatar II.

Thanks, I will be sure to give your shout out to Hollywood! I think our first southern cali gathering for Avatar fans could be here or Comic Con for sure!

AVATAR 3D at The Dome pics from the exclusive collection donated by James Cameron. This is a special exhibit containing props and set pieces actually used in the movie, like Jake's Wheelchair. Jake's shoes are so large, they are meant for 10ft tall Avatar feet! More to come...
Lead the crowed and applaud when you can't contain it :)
