i have now visited 41 states in the USA, either driving, work-related travel, or on roadtrips with friends or family. it is one of my 'bucket list' things to do, travel all fifty states. i have been to Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, TAXachussetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania (where i was born), Maryland, Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia (where i currently live/work), North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, California, Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii.
i still have yet to see Alaska, which will probably be the hardest/expensive to visit, tbh, then Montana, Idaho, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. a couple of my previous jobs in my 20s were travel jobs fixing medical instruments and some ship-breaking which i absolutely hated, but i got to see some states i might never have visited, like Hawaii, Texas, and Key West, Florida.
if you live in the United States, have visited, or intend to, you must see the Grand Canyon. i have been to all these states, seen some great sights and scenery, but Arizona's Grand Canyon beats them all, even the beaches and blue water of Hawaii.
