nzk0, nethox, ar0c6 -
Could one of you please remove the 60 second wait between reporting posts? I'm trying to report trolls as fast as possible and this thing is really hindering me from doing that.
Thanks :)

Also, I suggest more moderators. These trolls are getting way out of hand.

Removing that limit could work against the forum, if you have people reporting posts which have not broken any rules then they would take advantage of this and flood the mods with bad reports which ends in a waste of resources sorting out which are good and which are bad posts. Don't feed or aid the trolls more than necessary..

Ah, fair enough then.
What about shortening it to 30 seconds?
I got about 38 reported post emails while I was at work today. I think its fine as it is.

Fair enough, and you're probably right.
I'm just anxious to keep this a safe, clean place for everyone, however at the same time I don't want you guys to have to deal with more than you already have to.

More moderators would certainly help, I was on earlier and there was a troll continually posting for ages with no banhammer in sight.

This.
It may be pertinent to find someone in a particular Timezone, because it seems pretty consistant that in the early morning hours around 6 - 9 or 10 AM Central Standard Time, we don't have any moderators on. Sometimes we do but there's some big gaps where we don't.

Most of the time, I miss the trolls due to the banhammer :). I mean we do not have many people on in the morning but then again today was really the first time that was somewhat of an issue. I mean, I think everything is going ok...

I'm pretty sure this is a troll post: http://www.avatar-forums.com/showpost.php?p=40266&postcount=78
Not sure if we are to report these 'suspected' posts, or just report posts that are clearly trolling (eg. porn, spam). Which do the mods prefer?

Yeah, that one seems like it is, LOL. A bit "personal" for a first-time poster, right :rotfl:

Just go about reporting anything that you feel to be an off-topic or inflammatory post. If you see that the member has only just registered then he, or she is probably a troll.
