how about a sub forum for newbies like me and others as well as future others to post "hey i am here and new and hi" or something like that? besides that, the forum is very nice and easy to navigate but come on! i want to be known! :eagerness:

"I want to be known" :nlol:
I feel like telling you "You already have" *lol* just like Quaritch says to Jake in the film with that tone :nlol:
Perhaps just a dedicated thread for this idea?

There is a sticky thread in general where you can introduce urself, but i think a sub forum might be better?

i believe there is something like that. its good in its own way but i have in mind a place where each member can make their own thread to introduce themselves. its a better way in my opinion to get newbies more open if they have their own thread rather then just having a single post and leaving it at that among a few thousand other posts all someone else's who don't acknowledge them personally. i think it just would be a better way to encourage a welcoming online community and for expression to take place by a simple intro especially for the shyer or quieter members. :)

^Yeah, I've seen that on other Forums, I like that aswell.
Here usually though, I've seen new members simply make their own 'Hello There'-Style Thread to introudce themselves :) I did it myself when I joined, and it was the first time I'd ever even joined an internet forum *lol* It works :) and people here, Will get to know you pretty quick in any case, you'll be surprised :nlol:
