I saw one of these maps yesterday at work, absolutely ridiculous...theres not much to see anyways, the town just looks like crap, but all the debris is cleaned up.

BTW I never new we had a visitors bureau until I saw this map, unless youre coming to look at some piles of chat from where they used to mine lead and where we now ride dirtbikes and 4 wheelers I dont know why you'd come here anyways.

i agree that it is tasteless and consumately tacky to promote tourism and tourism-related profit,from the misery of people who lost their homes,jobs,livelihoods,and dignity,to the ravages of mother nature. i could never go on vacation and sight-see a bunch of wreckage and devastation of peope's lives...it would supremely bother my conscience,tbh.

There is nothing good to see honestly...the few trees that actually made it are dead, have no bark, all the rubble is gone, there are signs that are twisted and a few homes here and there that have never been touched since.

I have to see it every day on the way to work and wish I didnt have to. Interesting they want to market that and try to bring in some $$$, oh the almighty dollar.
