Well we see his intentions and what inspired him to be a director. Who knows when someday he will inspire someone. :)

Irayo, MarkD, for posting the link to JC on "Inside The Actors Studio". Great stuff -- really enjoyed watching it! I didn't even know JC had been on that program, but it was awesome to have him interviewed by James Lipton...and apparently it was done not too long before the 2010 Oscars.
Anyway, I'll never tire of listening/watching JC talk about his life and career and esp Avatar.
Irayo MarkD for posting. That was really interesting and gave a great insight into James Cameron and where he comes from and his film making.

Well you get out there and start making those films now ma tsmukan! Just do it. :nhi: A guy said that failure is an option, but fear is not. That guy was James Cameron...

thanks Alan and don't worry i have started making films (well more like clips)in house of course. I have been working my way up the ladder because i have been working at a stageing company for the past couple of months and i have learned a lot about the technical aspect of film, like how audio works, how a camera works and learning the skills to repair them. before i didn't know much about the technical aspect and now im making my own mic cable and internet cable. Not only that one of the guys who works there has a friend who owns a small production company making music videos and ads and he asked me if i want to come along for a shoot next month to learn a couple of things. its my time to shine!!!!!
i guess that my plan, work my way up the ladder, heck that how JC did it.

i agree :) and i liked his interaction with the students/audience. i see a lot of interviews with audiences, and the person never even acknowledges the audience :/ and i like that JC looks at them quite a bit, says some funny things to the students occasionally, and generally makes the audience a part of the interview, imo.
my favorite film-maker and establishment rebel...a self-thinker and motivator. i like that!!! :)

Way to go Navi_warrior :nhi: 'Learn from the inside and gain their trust...' You're doing it the right way. It that business, as you probably know, it isn't what you know, but who you know. Keep at it.
I've been busy learning about 3D film making during lunch time at work. Going to see if I can tak it to a whole new level!
There are a lot of tip bits of information in JC's interview that are worth noting. Such as how to deal with the powers that be and the absolute focus required when making a film.
See ya in Seattle with video camera :nwink:
