What are your favorite
Aegukka: North Korean anthem. Worst dictatorship has beautiful music.
March of the Volunteers. The olympics made me like this one.
Du gamla, Du fria: Swedish Anthem
Deutschlandlied: German anthem
Kimigayo: Dull lyrics, but great tune nonetheless.
Fratelli d'Italia
Russian Anthem: It's mostly the tune that's soul stirring.
My Kazakhstan
HaTikva: The Israeli anthem.
Advance Australia Fair
O Canada
The Star-Spangled Banner is okay, but I personally think Proud to be an American or America the Beautiful would be much better.
Maamme: Finnish anthem
La Bayamesa: Cuban Anthem
Swiss Psalm
Ja vi elsker dette landet: Norwegian Anthem
Istikal Marsi: Turkish anthem
God Save the Queen

I love the Star Spangled Banner. I tend to like "fighting for freedom" songs better than "oh our country is pretty". I might also like it because I live near the site of the battle and my great-something grandfather was in the battle described. Through I wouldn't mind this: [NEW VRSN] Battle Hymn of the Republic - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFtNVEbasOo)
Some others I like:
Amy Macdonald - Flower of Scotland (HQ) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vkYiCdn834&feature=related)
Because it has a great tune and refers to Scotland's fighting for independence during the middle ages.
South Africa National Anthem "Nkosi sikelel' iAfrika" - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qXKur2FAN7g)
3 Languages and an interesting tune make this one very good.
Mongolia (Olympic Version / Versión Olímpica) (2004) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3YY6dXPGbL4&feature=related)
As far as I can tell, the only Asian anthem that sounds even remotely like Asian music.
Not a national anthem, my state anthem:
Maryland, my Maryland - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3IYjvCv8g2E)
I like this for the following reasons:
It has the tune of O Christmas Tree/ O Tannenbaum.
It is the most rebellious state anthem, if you know Maryland's history and the civil war:
The "despot" is Abraham Lincoln.
"Sic Semper Tyranus" was yelled by John Wilkes Booth when he assassinated Lincoln.
The "patriotic gore" refers specifically to the Baltimore massacre, in which federal troops fired on pro-secessionist rioters, and more generally to the events in Maryland during the civil war when the state tried to rebel against the federal government, but did not succeed as it was invaded and put under martial law. (The good old USA was a bit upset the the state their capital was in was trying to secede).
