That's right, I hear the drums from Pandora once again! I'm not hallucinating.

Avatar Forums is moving tonight to a brand new web server at Unixy.net (http://www.unixy.net).

This move is in part to allow for increased traffic, improve our website performance, stability, and to allow for growth beyond our current hardware setup.

When the move actually takes place, I will have to place the forums into maintenance mode. This will prevent you from posting or adding any new content.

You'll know when you've reached our Pandora server, one, if you're able to post again, and two, it will be noticeably different. You'll see what I mean.

You may follow the transfer this evening, on Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/avatarforums), as I keep everyone informed of our progress.

If you're reading this, you've arrived at our new Pandora, web server, hosted by UNIXY.net. Based out of Los Angeles, please allow anywhere from 2 to 24 hours for the website to fully update. I see a lot of members have already found us, and I'm confident the rest will drop in very soon.

The website continues to be tweaked to insure it's stable. During this time, you may experience some caching issues, like missing photos, or multiple login requirements.

Here's a tip to improve your experience.



Log out if you're logged in.
Clear your browsers' cache, and cookies, close your browser.
Restart your computer. After Windows loads, open your browser, return to the forum and login. It should ask you for your username and password.

I've disabled the Facebook login temporarily until the DNS is updated so you can't use that method to login.

Please PM me any irregularities.
