I was just watching the news... He's dead... Anyone else see this? All I have to say about that is... He had it coming.

Yes. Says US special forces killed him and have his body. I'm from New York(upstate)and I remember vividly watching 9/11 unfold live, this has been a long time coming. I'm not sure how I am suppose to feel. I want to cheer that this mass murderer is finally dead, and I want to cry because its wrong to wish death upon anyone. I can't imagine what is running through the minds of the victim's families. 10 years has passed and suddenly its 911 all over for them. My heart goes out to them.

Apparently, he's been death for a while and his body is so damaged that it required a more scientific examination than the normal visual confirmation to guarantee that it is really him.
This will probably make a lot of people feel a lot better, if anything, this will give them a much deserved feeling of Justice finally done.

I feel similarly, and will not celebrate someone's death. Though I also remember 911 and feel that it was unforgivable.

From a neutral point of view, what did this accomplish other than a sense of justice? He evaded being captured for a decade. Not only that he is just one man. Others have taken his place.

Knowing our government, he's probably alive and they're holding him somewhere underground.

He(Osama)should not be allowed to get away with the horrific acts he orchestrated. It would have been better to have captured this dangerous and violent man alive and to see him imprisoned for life so that he can never again do what he has done, kill. This is me trying my best to adhere to the principles that we should love our enemies and forgive them for they know not what they do. As much as I love Jesus, if I had a gun and my shot would have saved all those innocent lives I would have shot Osama dead. Sometimes its so hard to follow his teachings.

Took 'em long enough.

Does this mean it's finally "Mission Accomplished"?

I don't. Osama Bin Laden was much more then a figure head. He created Al-Qaeda with his family's vast fortune and molded every twisted aspect of its ideology in his image of Islam. He was the heart and soul of that killing machine. The war against extremism is far from over, but Al-Queda was buried at sea along with its founder and the reason why is because he and his awful organization ultimately, and thankfully, failed.

Killed in a raid no less.Congratulations USA, you removed a truly vile individual. With his death the scales of justice are a little bit more balanced than before.

I think Osama's death is more than just the death of one man, he is a symbol of terror. The fact that he is dead means that moral in USA will boost, and everyone will get warm fuzzies from a sense of justice. Truth is, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. they have been corrupt, violent places for way too long to have the death of one man make them put down their weapons and surrender. My heart goes out to the soldiers that are fighting. It's a bittersweet victory, how many lives have been lost for this cause? Of course theres something wrong with that question; the cause is debatable, is the war really about terrorists? or is it oil, fear campaigns, conspiracys? (lol)

Well I'm happy the basterd is dead anyway, may he rot in hell for eternity.

I'm very happy the bastard is dead. He never deserved to live anyway. I think he should have had a stick shoved up his *** first and bleed slowly to death, than parade his body around. "See? This is what happens to assholes like this." Yeah. :)

And just like in South Park, he's in a gay pair up with Satan and Saddam. Three losers no one wants around.

Justifiable anger is what Osama Bin laden sowed for himself. I have been seeing calls from all over to see him rot, burn, and suffer in hell for his crimes. Know what I want, I want Osama to meet all those people he had murdered. And you know what else, I want to see the shock and awe on Osama's face as all those people he murdered embrace him. I want Osama to look into their forgiving, peaceful and carefree, eyes and see how terribly wrong, and stupid he was, for waging a war of terror on his brothers and sisters. And with no lake of fire consuming his soul, all of heaven will hear him cry out his remorse.

At last
10 years is too long but I guess it's better late than never.

It's just amazing how the Palestinians will do anything to look stupid...
Hamas(Palestinians terrorists organiztion) yesterday condemned the "Illegal assassination against a Muslim martyr".
Today and yesterday were demonstrations against the assassination in Gaza, West Bank and East Jerusalem.

My main concern is from nuclear revenge attacks(In Europe and USA).

^ this...i so totally agree, but even his violent death from the head-shattering impact of high velocity steel,is little solace or consolation to those still suffering from the heinous acts of this madman and his twisted, evil ideology. terrorists everywhere, you will reap it!!!

The Daily Show is having a fun time with this. I mean, look at the first episode of the week!

I was really surprised when I turned on the tv after getting ready for bed and seeing this on tv. I thought it was going to be something else, but wow.
