View Full Version : Neytiri: How I truly view her

Neytiri is a special person to all of us. Including me.
Prowler recently told me
"just lol... thats all you seem to think of anyway... i dont see her that way, i see her for what she is not some sex object like you who loves to get nipple pictures and what not of her" -Prowler
For me I am in love with Neytiri's personality. Even though my overwhelming desire to draw or want pictures of her where you can see her nipples hides that fact.
I want everyone to know that Neytiri's body including her nipples are just icing on the cake for me. My true love with her lies with her personality.
Yes, I would like to have sex with her. Who wouldn't want to have sex with perfection?
Also a shocker to most of you. When I see any Image of Neytiri I do not automatically look to her boobs to see if I can see her nipples. I look into her eyes. Her eyes are the first thing I am drawn to. They are so beautiful, pure, enchanting. In fact I spend more time looking into her eyes then her chest and her nipples. Some people say looking into the eyes of someone is like looking into their soul. A window to their soul so to speak. Maybe that is why I spend so much time staring into her eyes. I want to get a glimpse of her soul.
Neytiri is not some sex object to me. She is someone who I am enchanted over. I look up to.
She is everything I want to see in a perfect mate.
What prowler said hurt. More then that It made me realized that if he thinks this of me then the majority of you do so also.
I wanted to take this time and let all of you know that Neytiri is more then a person to me. Not some sex symbol. Not some person. she is the embodiment of perfection.
For me her perfection starts with her personality.
I wanted you all to know that.
Thanks,
Palulukan_Taronyu

It's great to know you love Neytiri for her personality and not just the physical aspects of her body, but if you could please express your love and affection for her in a more mature manner, I would appreciate it. :nsmile:

Same here.
Yes, I would like to have sex with her. Who wouldn't want to have sex with perfection?
This is a very normal reaction considering how beautiful and wonderful she is.

every once in a great while,a movie character comes along that is electrifying, riveting, irresistable, truly larger than life,a hero or heroine for the ages, and while this film has two,i am totally captivated and drawn to the undeniable force that is Neytiri of the Omaticaya. from startlingly expressive eyes to her absolute cat-like grace, the list of physical attributes goes on,but it is her inner fire, confidence, and intelligence that shines through and enhances that beauty. it is her wild, untamable spirit and unwavering devotion to her people and way of life, that also resonate with me,and on some level,i am on her wavelength that when she is happy,i am happy, that when she is hurt,i feel her pain. to me,Neytiri is the soul of the Omaticaya, the champion of the current generation. i am awed by this ethereal yet fierce woman, capable of both ruthless skill on the battlefield and glowing, soulful love of forest, mate, and people in peacetime. i love Neytiri, plain and simple.

I agree with prowler. people might get a wrong picture of you because in many of your comments you just mention her nipples when you see a picture of her. I truly believe that's not the only reason why you love her :nwink: , but that's what I was also thinking for a while. Maybe you can express it in another way what she means to you and keep that with her nipples for yourself :nsmile::nsmile: .
...But sure you're not the only one thinking of her being attractive. I guess nobody would deny that he wants to see more of her :nlol: , even if we don't talk about it all the time.
seeing some nudity is fun for a while i guess, but you'll get over it. and nipples aren't that special :P

Well Palulukan, no offense but I guess all the nipple comments do send out that message, but I can see where you're coming from and to an extent I stand corrected. I can also see where prowler is coming from, now I don't need to go into detail of how I feel about Neyney because I'm pretty sure you know by now. I just don't want to think about her in that way (she is too good for it) and I believe neither does prowler (if I had to choose between sex and tsahaylu, I would choose the latter without second thoughts). So as the kids would say - we cool?

Well I am a senior member here been here from almost the beginning I have over 7500 posts The other 2000 being in the "Fan Made Games" Section. But many have left and I am one of the few that are still on that has been here since launch. We have a new generation of people here now. Although I feel I have a lot to give back and to help with.
I just feel out of place now. I knew where I stood amongst everyone in the "good 'ol days". Now I am unsure.
I love these forums it has been home for me. Meeting new and old faces. Talking about the greatest film of all time. I just feel that my time is coming to an end.
no, your time is just starting. there is still so much to be discovered in the universe of Avatar. the fact that you are one of the remaining senior members is a big enough reason for you to stay. you should be happy that you have stayed this long. you've met many great people here as well :nsmile:

Interesting post, as someone already posted, maturity in Internet is something to be amazed of.
Anyway, the OP has demonstrated a level of maturity most couples can't even dream of.
Sex? Overrated! Sex is just a part of a relationship (of course it's great, but certainly a relationship wears if it's only based on sex). Confidence is probably one of the most relevant things in a relationship along with passion and sacrifice.
When my girlfriend and I started to date, we realized soon that we were quite different, we liked different things and had different points of view on almost everything. However, that wasn't something bad, because we felt that each other was a perfect different world (as a matter of fact, I like to stare at her, she does too) and we learnt to know each other's likes, dislikes and so on. The whole experience of learning each other's personality has enriched the relationship and, certainly, has helped to smooth some small differences we had. When I arrive home after work, sometimes before her, sometimes with her, sometimes after her, there's a feeling that tells you "well, I'm home" and when I wake up, I feel her at my side and say "it's her". One day, after dinner, I asked "why are we together?" She said "because I love everything of you. The way you dress, the way you see things, the way you see me. I love to feel everyday that you are thinking of me and I like to feel I am loved in everything you do for me, like waking me up when it's late for work or when you tape my favorite programs". You will learn that you are with her because of her and that she's with you because of you. You love the whole package, the good, bad and ugly things that make that perfect world, namely, the person.

Well, that's a relationship we can all dream of. You've truly found your personal Neytiri:nwink: you lucky one:)
Im 16 now and I haven't had any relationships with girls yet (most ppl. probably say everyone should have had a girl/boyfriend with the age of 16), but I don't want a boring loveless relationships that I see everyday like my friends in school. I'm looking for a girl that I can love the same way that you told it. not just a kiss and hug every morning, I want something real, and I haven't found anything real yet. So I'll keep on waiting, until I'm ready to meet my Neytiri someday:nlol: and I know I'll find her.

I'm EXACTLY the same (well I'm 18, but on an emotional level I mean). My friends only seem to have girlfriends for sex or bragging rights and it's just ugh. I'd rather wait however long it takes to feel the love of a women I really adore.

One couldn't help but feel sorry for Neytiri when Jake reveals his true mission as an RDA mole. The way I saw it, she'd thrown away the life with Tsu'tey which was what both Eytukan and Mo'at had wanted for her so she could be with Jake, only to discover two days later that Jake was sent by the Sky People to learn their ways in order to bring them the message that either the Na'vi leave Hometree quietly or the RDA will kill them, and that he was aware the entire time that the humans were planning to destroy Hometree, but despite this, I don't believe that she ceased caring for Jake completely, as when Eytukan ordered the clan to flee from the RDA fleet and leave Jake as well as Grace bound rather than slit their throats as they had threatened to do, Neytiri hesitated for a long moment and stared at Jake before moving out with the rest of the clan which, for me, indicated that she left him like that against her will, otherwise why bother having her show any reluctance at all? Now an outcast, Jake was, as he himself stated, going to have to take things to a whole new level if he wanted to win back Neytiri's love and the trust of the Omaticaya, and ultimately, he did. It was great to see Neytiri finish off Quaritch in the final battle. Jake may have saved the Na'vi by taking out both the Valkyrie and Dragon before they had a chance to bomb the Tree of Souls but it was Neytiri who saved the hero from the ruthless Colonel.

Well, certainly I feel lucky but it didn't worked out of the box. It's far from perfect but we have learnt to accept each other as is and to improve what we consider faults. I'll give an example, in her "difficult days" (you know what I mean) her mood changes wildly and sometimes she's very fierce (I call those days her Mandy days) and those days are a tough challenge for me. I am a trouble for her sometimes too, for example, I tend to leave stuff all over the house, like books, tools, plates, etc. And I have this bad habit of leaving the lights, the television and computer on even if I'm not by (once she punched me because of that "told you hundreds of times to turn off the lights, you wastrel!" though it wasn't a hard punch.)
Another thing, I started to date after I got my engineering degree. I always said "if I'm going to do things right, I have to do them right" so I finished my studies first, then I started to work and just then I said to myself "well, now I that I have a reasonable base, I can look for a girl". So, we both can now plan our lives together with very little concerns.

very well said, and i want to add to your praise of Neytiri,by pointing out that it was really she who saved the day when she saved Jake from the viperwolves. oh,he would've taken quite a few with him,but the viperwolves would've destroyed the avatar body through sheer numbers and ferocity, thus preventing Jake from ever falling for Neytiri and becoming Turok Macto,so it was the magnificent Na'vi warrior goddess Neytiri who saved avatar Jake, setting in motion the chain of events that would ultimately free the Na'vi and Pandora, from the skypeople's tyranny. Neytiri is my standard-bearer for the modern era hero, larger than life in every way,and while i do find her beautiful and all that physical stuff,it is truly her inner qualities that so touch my heart, courage, determination, strength of mind, intelligence, mental toughness, and the will to win. i see these facets of her personality in her eyes, that set to her chin, that unyielding warrior mentality, and i am awed. to use a word of Jake's,the lady is 'outstanding'! i truly do see you,Neytiri of the Omaticaya.

Pssh, who says you have to have had a girl/boyfriend by 16? I'm 22, didn't have my first relationship until college, and have zero regrets. Don't pay attention to what you think others may or may not be doing; just focus on building yourself up into someone YOU like.

I appreciate your attitude about that, I'm thinking the same. No regrets yet, it's rather the other way round, the more I see of these "everyday relationships" in school or somewhere, I'm just glad for myself that I haven't tried a relationship with anyone yet, I feel more free through that. And I know if I would start such a "relationship" with just some girl, I would feel like having to be the nice guy all the time, but that's not me. I want to be totally myself to my girl, once I've found the right one, I'm kind of getting annoyed of seeing such superficial relationships all around me. But today society tries in every way to make us feel like we should get a girl/boyfriend as soon as possible, through media and such, if you understand what I mean. And thanks for encouraging me to go on :nsmile:

It makes me feel that people are taking this as a joke. Which is not. I put a lot of thought and heart into this post so that everyone would know how I felt about Neytiri. But here we have people talking about their relationships ETC.

It was applejuice who got of topic first and then for almost two pages it was everyone talking about relationships. I think Helaku was the only one to post something about what I talked about during the "off Topic" section of this thread.
I do not get why applejuice even started to talk about his relationship with his girlfriend in the first place. But that made me mad. I let it go hoping it would lead to some point about what I was talking about but lead to more people talking about the relationships and forgetting what this post was even about.
Anyways. I am saddened and upset. I do not put you directly to blame Na'vi. Just for future references (to everyone not just you) look at the who started the post and read what they had to say before continuing on to the next page. That way next time when a serious post is made it does not go off topic.

My sincere apologies to you, not intended to derail your thread that way. I was just trying to make a point of comparison about how a relationship is in ideal terms, to what an relationship actually is, and to share experience to all. i view Neytiri in a lot of different ways, different contexts, and who she is in the Na'vi society as a woman. i have had this World War 2 poster of Rosie the Riveter,on my wall for years now,and i see some of her in Neytiri. Neytiri is the shining example of female empowerment and equality in an evolving Na'vi culture, and i see her lead-by-example bravery as having on huge impact on the next generation of Na'vi girls. in her decision not to kill Jake,Neytiri set in motion the eventual emancipation of women from the 'you may choose a woman' culture to women having a say in who they share their hammock with,as i'm sure that new clan chief Jake will push for some gradual reform in the rigid society views toward women. you can see this in his speech to the clan when he calls them to arms,'...my brothers, sisters' as equals. Neytiri is also a true role-model for the next generation, devoted to her People, her Deity, her duty as defender of the faith. she is also the current title-holder and chief practitioner of that famous lone-wolf syndrome, the independent streak. it's another reason i connect with this fiercesome warrior goddess of the forest, her independence,self-reliance,and
confidence. while she is devoted and protective of the clan, she is just as comfortable out in the wild forest and on her own,the mark of a true warrior and hunter.
i see you,Neytiri of the Omaticaya

Palulukan, I see you're still active in the forums, as you mentioned you're not feeling comfortable here anymore. I hope that your view has changed in some way, we all feel that you still belong here, and it would be a big loss if you left this place.

I appreciate your kind words but I am not as comfortable as I used to be. My view has changed it has not been for the better. But I am going to still hang around here and post.

perfection is a difficult word... nobody is perfect! and this is good! Neytiri isn't perfect but there is something at her i can't discribe. For me i agree to 99% with him! Yes, i look on her sexy body but at first i tried to focus her eyes, then her lips and then i close my eyes trying ti imagine i would kiss her now while having Tsaheylu with her. BTW: i can imagine that Tsaheylu with Neytiri is much better than sex or any kind of that! With Tsaheylu you can look so deep into someone... WOW!
I'm 16 and yes i have seen sometimes her nippels in some scenes but if someone only laughes then or says "Hey man look hahaha omg look at this ****!" i could kill him! This is nature! It's not funny it's for her next baby to survive so dont **** her up with this, you would really make me angry! Just think about this or try to understand what i mean:
1. Why dont you laugh any time when you see a dogs nippels?
2. What is your interest in this? Why dont you laugh or whatever when you see f.e. her lips or nose? Why only nippels and maybe her round a-s-s?
I really love her (sleepless at nights, praying to god to become one with her now or after my death) i only see her beautiful way to act with everything around her! Like an amazing aura! I take it like 99,9% important are the personality or internal values and the rest are her look and so on!

there have been many great characters in the almost 100 years of film history, hero and villian alike, but every once in a great while,a truly unique character blows up the silver screen and tops them all. ladies and gentlemen,i give you Neytiri of the Omaticaya. this azure-skinned femme fatale needs no introduction, for it will only take the briefest of glimpses to see what we see in the universal appeal of the Forest Goddess. though the lady says no one can teach you to see,it is truly her that taught us to see...

You have to remember, threads are not all about the OP. That would be a comment area on an article or video. They're dynamic and living, just because a reply does not directly address your post doesn't make it bad. I've read through the thread and seen everything beginning to end connect in a logical manner.

for some unfathomable reason,i am reminded of my love,Neytiri, whenever i see this poem by Nathaniel Hawthorne...
True happiness is like the butterfly. the more you pursue it,the more it will elude you.
but,if you are patient and still,it will come softly to land on your shoulder.
i see you,Rider of the Thanator.

When pictures are posted I look at her face first to see if she's smiling. My fascination is with her, not with her body.
I agree with what you say about her personality. It's simply perfect, more than any man could ever want.

even though i'm a guy,i have always been attracted to strong female characters in books and cinema. i find these women to be fascinating, mysterious, and complex in their characterizations, and i believe Neytiri is a mix of all my favorite characters, but she has taken it to the next level,as she is far and beyond our norms established by Terran society and expectations. whenever someone tries to label, define,or otherwise pin down our Forest Goddess,i always hear that singular observation by the esteemed Vulcan,Spock,'it is not logical'. that's right,my view of the fabulous Palulukan Macto, defies logic, she is beyond our scope of understanding, our cup is too full to understand, unless we open our eyes and See. to quote the lady herself,'no one can teach you to See.' indeed...

Agreed, actually the whole movie took my way to look at thinks and my way of thinking to a whole new level. I experienced deep love how I had never felt before and it touched me so deeply that I'll never be able to put in words how it felt and how it affected me. I can feel Neytiri so strongly inside of me, she lives in me and I can learn to listen to her so she can teach me to see:in-love:

thank you,but in all honesty,i am inspired by my love of Neytiri. i think that Jack saw Rose the way that Neytiri saw Jake. Jack saw a kindred soul in distress,a soul that could complete his journey and quest, and Rose did just that. i love that film and that couple, just on a different plane than Neytiri and her soulmate. however, both Neytiri and Rose both made life-changing decisions to step outside of their respective worlds, and for that,i am forever indebted to both of these fabulous women.
i see you,Rose Dawson.

Neytiri is the absolute heart and soul of my imagination,my life-long quest to find something beyond the predictablity and staleness of humanity. i always dreamed there was something out there in the vast cosmos, something beyond the limits of the terran box,and i have seen it in all its celestial majesty and magnificence. it is the universe-spanning beauty of the Azure Angel, the Light of the endless galaxies, the most astoundingly gorgeous and soulful woman to ever grace the stars and beyond...
ah,my Neytiri, will you dance with me? :inlove:

i have this vision of a stunning Neytiri,in warpaint, dripping blood and sweat, holding aloft a bloody sword in one hand, that looks like a cross between Red Sonya's and Conan the Destroyer's swords, and a long wooden battlestaff like Tsu'teys from the challenge, yelling at the surviving RDA/Secop mercs,'is that all you have, skypeople??!',as scores of dead mercs lay around her, felled by her sword and staff. Neytiri is REAL,and i am forever in awe of this incomparable Huntress and Warrior!!!

What you wrote is very nice and deep Palulukan, i see you, and i agree. I watched Avatar again yesterday, and everytime, i try to truly understand what Neytiri really means for me, what this thread talks about. Because i realise i think of her so much, and i talked about her so much, maybe more than anything else in my life, and i like to meet her in the film every once in a while, and understand HER, herself. So yesterday night, was obviously magic, i can't tell how i felt inside after watching it again, i had thousands of feelings in me, they overwhelmed me, and they brought a lonely couple of tears in my eyes, straight from my heart, and Neytiri, is mostly the reason of those feelings. As Palulukan also mentions, it's not only the body, i mean, i admit, the first first first time i saw her at the cinema over a year ago, i didn't fall in love staright away, it was a process, a process of falling in love with her, parallel to the whole love of everything Avatar includes, so now, after thinking of Neyney so much, i realise, that i fell in love with all of her, i love her tonic body, her cute nose, the shiny dots on her face, her beautiful long hair, her big yellow eyes, her sublime lips, her hands, her feet, her blue stripes, her teeth, her clothes, her voice ( Zoe's voice =) )her breasts, her character which is so simple really, it's so simple and down to basic truth that it fascinates our minds, full of useless thoughts... she is loyal, brave, a warrior, and she just falls in love with Jake, and she just mates with him, following her soul. So i love HER, and in those three letters h,e,r, all of her qualities are included, and it's amazing how she made me fall in love, altough i know i will never get to meet her, the real Neytiri, because i fell in love with girls before, but you realise, there is none like her, i look at some girls today and they're just so stupid, and ruined, boys also ofcourse, so it's all messed up really... And Neytiri is my only way out, my ideal female =) and the best thing of Neytiri, i will always say, is her smile, the moment she smiles at Jake at the tree of souls, (in my signature picture) in the film, that smile is just so awesome... i always smile too at that point, i nearly laugh, not at her, at the fact she's so nice and pure :) i almost think she's smiling at me, and i smile back happily =) when do you get a smile like that today? anyway, Neytiri, is Most definitely the most Perfect ideal i have in my heart :) after GOD Almighty :) so i praise the Lord for giving me something to dream: NEYTIRI :)

First,What you imagine is real, all this energy that Ney passes to us and the energy we pass to her, made this relationship real...
And I am sure that we all got a part of her inside us...which is one of the things I love around here...
