... is not nearly as bad as people make it out to be. They like efficiency. Hurting the environment is not efficient. Now let's see who can put two and two together...

Well corporations still care primarily about making money which is why they also cut down forests for things... there is no balance in corporations so it seems (to me)

For every tree a corporation cuts down, they plant a new one to grow in it's place. Hell, for the most part, they've stopped cutting down forests and have started Farming trees (Plant trees, let them grow to peak, cut down, rinse and repeat). So buy paper new and non recycled, because recycling paper actually leads to more toxic gases being released into the air, and no forests will come to harm from it.

Yes but it take years and years for those trees to grow. They're cutting down trees faster than they're growing.

What part of 'planting one tree for every tree they cut down' do you not understand? It's a twenty year cycle - they cut down trees they planted 20 years ago, which have reached the size of 'rather large'. They don't touch forests anymore.

Lol. The only good thing massive corporations did was help settle America. (Joint-Stock Companies)
Everything else seems like such a waste of life.

That waste of time is currently feeding you, providing your electricity, equipping the police who keep you safe, build your house, built the road outside your house, and just about everything in your house.

Dont knock it.

Local economies and small businesses are the best way to go. Think back to the 1950s of the US, and just how prosperous everyone was. Why? Because small business was king, and large corporations were kept in check by high taxation, high tariffs, and strong regulation. This pro-coporate system of supply-side economics is an experiment that is only 30 years old, begun when Reagan took office in the 1980s and started to destroy everything that was good and decent in the US, and so far it has been a complete and utter failure compared to the demand-side economic system of the 1950s - 1970s.

I like Local economies producing(and governing) everything necessary for themselves and talking to other economies to trade for what they need. And people getting to move where they wish.
