Heres a tribute I made for our beautiful little blue planet, full of its own unique "Pandoran" Wonders.

"Explore Earth's natural wonders that rival and surpass those on Pandora"

(this is the first montage type video i've ever done so it maybe be a little rough round the edges )

Update:
Age of Man video montage

"In this Age of Man, is this the mark we choose to leave behind?"

Incredible video!Kinda makes me sad that we are living on an amazing planet, yet we are constantly destroying the planet.

Define Destroy. Alter? Evolve? Devolve? Mess Up? Advancing? Devancing? Or completely obliterate the surface to molten rock?

Each World to its own destiny?

Alter? The climate and ecology
Evolve? Only the culture of one single species
Devolve? The biodiversity of the planet, the complexity of lifeforms
Mess Up? the natural balance and interactions
Advancing? the tools and technologies of that single species again
Devancing? the mental landscape of that single species
Or completely obliterate the surface? By the possibility of nuclear warfare, climate collapse

Thank You. The word destroy becomes so vague after you see it over and over..

thanks!!:nlol:
the two videos definitely work together
Earth's Natural Wonders showing us that Earth holds beauty beyond that of Pandora.
Age of Man showing up how man has come to upset the balance and tarnish that beauty, and so is this the mark we choose to leave behind.

I'm thinking of making another one to make it a "trilogy" of sorts.
Trilogy: Earth's Natural Wonders, Age of Man, Fight to the Death(<--title pending) :ntongue:

Hehe nice sequel. Interesting idea to do a third. I'd look forward to it.
The idea you used here is similar to "HOME" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IbDmOt-vIL8) or Koyaanisqatsi (http://koyaanisqatsi.org/), two documentaries. AFAIK know they show only material like in your two first montages though, so I'd be interested in a third :)
What will it have in it?

Definitely watch these two. One is recent and very popular around people in this forum. It has beautiful images and a narrators voice. The other is from the 1980ies and has two sequels. There is no narrator AFAIK, just song and music.
For your third, I think it will be a bit more challenging, as it is about the future, I guess. So it probably would have to include different ways people intend to deal with the crisis (or already do)?

You may be interested BTW in this: Is Eywa a fungal organism? - Page 2 - Tree of Souls - An Avatar Community Forum (http://www.tree-of-souls.com/pandora/2590-eywa_fungal_organism-2.html) - basically it is a nonfictional "Pandora on Earth" concept. Paul Stamets, a renowned mycologist claims, that we have a "biological internet" on the planet :)

So you have some more Videos ("Avatar Themed")???

Ok, I know many of you are not from the U.S. but I will need every one of you, this is not a local effort, it is a global one, we must reach out to everyone we can. I want every last one of you to help me start a world-wide movement to stop environmental degridation, as you can see in these videos, we have much to lose if we don't fight, and if we don't keep fighting, in my opinion we are at the breaking point in terms of environmental health, we need to act now, put up posters, speak in a public place, do whatever it takes, also, anyone with military experience, private message me, I have a unique assignment for you. We need to stop our race from destroying itself. environmental health, and human health are deeply intertwined, without one, you can't have the other, and our environment is not healthy.

Yes, definitely. "whatever it takes"... but not blind activism. I definitely think, we have to use our activity to the most effect. Going around in some areas and put up stickers against nuclear power (they are everywhere here ;) ) is a nice thing, but I am not sure if it is the most effective use of activity. I am sick of the meager results people get back from spending so much time in creating petitions that are ignored, put up posters that are just torn down and organize candle walks that dont prevent wars. Even worse in terms of effectiveness is "voting with your wallet" or voting in general or "using less water" (especially in states that simply have abundant water). So what do you think would be the most effective way to get active? I would be a bit careful about talking about involving "military experience" though in a public forum ;)
Oh by the way - this weekend, at least people from Germany can be a bit active, there will be protests against nuclear waste dumping in Germany on Saturday at the famous site in Gorleben. People announced to plan to dig holes under railway tracks on which the waste will be delivered in order to stop the transport...

Yes, well that particular issue seems to have been somewhat resolved. However I would not stop thinking about all out war, it can be a very persuasive tool if used properly.
