What would Na'vi do,if they would found human baby left in the forest? This question is bothering me, so I decided to write them here. And yes, i know it is theoretically impossible (different air on Pandora), but I look forward to interesting posts.

Honestly I think a Na'vi would probably save it. The reason I say this is that they can accept that just because the child is a human, doesn't mean it's going to grow up to be like say, Quaritch for example. At the end of Avatar, we see the Na'vi let a number of humans stay behind to join them because they have shown themselves to be different from the rest of the RDA.

Even if humans were to be killed on sight, warriors such as Na'vi hunters might frown upon killing defenceless targets like unarmed babies.

Yes. You're right. I thought the same. Do you imagine Na'vi hunting with this man, making tsahaylu with any animal or Na'vi xD? It could look interesting. He may have problems in life.

Haha, can't say I have given it much thought. If I was a creature on Pandora I'm not sure I'd want humans connecting to me via tsahaylu although Na'vi might think differently I suppose (like Neyney hopefully ;) ) As for hunting, I think a human could be quite useful because they are shorter and thus easier to conceal than a massive blue Na'vi. Not sure he'd/she'd survive the brutal assault by the beast if he failed to kill it though lol.

Exacly. As for hunting you're right. I did not think about it this way.

The Navi would( most Prob.) raise it. Think . If you found a Navi baby would you raise it ?

I could just imagine a lone Guy with a Shotty just raping anything left , right , center on pandora. Anyway I would raise a Na'vi baby , though i'm only 14 i would give it a try

Don't the Na'vi kill defenseless diplomats? If so then you have your answer.

I dunno... I think the baby would grow a little taller since their is a gravity difference..

Either way I believe they would take care of it as their own. Since it's only a baby, they will get to teach it and bring it up on the Na'Vi's ways of life and not the ways of humans.

They would take care of it and teach him/her their values.

Nature VS Nurture

The Human would grow up to be taller(not sure about this), but weaker than on 1G. thats if he dosent exercise, if he/she were to carry heavy things and work out from an early age the human should be fine.

i'm sure they would raise it. like you said let's ignore the fact that it can't breath the air. i doubt the na'vi would kill it, but i'm sure that if the baby was found by a group of Na'vi some would say "just leave it" while one or maybe more would say "we can't just leave it here! I'm going to look after it" and what is meant to be a temporary thing builds into something more, the Na'vi carer becomes attached to the human and raises it like it's child. :nsmile:

I think they would take care of it. Since the Na'vi, are, a generally caring species.
I just don't think a human could survive long there. It would always have to have a protecter with it. Just so it could ride behind them on a direhorse or ikran.
