well all over the world due to European settlement non native or invasive plant species have been introduced around the world. Not just plants either but also animals. The Cane toad in Australia would be a prime example. I'm sure earth plant's by themselves could survive on Pandora all the need is carbon dioxide and sunlight(read somewhere that their was a garden growing edible food inside Hell's Gate) Could any of earth's native plant's compete on Pandora? If not it would seem a small step for the RDA to bioengineer plants that could survive and thrive in the Pandora ecosystem. But my question is if the above was possible, could theses introduced plant species take over Pandora, replace Eywa by slowly killing of all native plant species, or would they develop alongside Pandora's ecosystem and eventually become part of it. Same thing with animal species. IF the RDA could develop animals that could breathe the atmosphere ,let's say rats, would the eventually integrate into Pandora by evolving their own queue, would the quickly die out, or even become a plague? Of course all the above situations would probably take place over millions of years to happen after introduction to Pandora.

I would guess that evolutionarily speaking, any plant from Earth would be at a disadvantage. For if you take the stance that the neural network of plants on Pandora can communicate with each other, they seem as if they would 'know' the best method of adaptation to move forward and survive.
A single, Earth species would be a lone-survivor and not necessarily thrive in the levels of atmospheric gases on Pandora, slightly different. For example, a simple change in temperature of a half a degree can wipe out an entire species on Earth, so with a change of more magnitude on Pandora, I would not have high hopes for the Earth plant.
However, if the plant miraculously adapted to 'tap into' the neural network of Pandora, I would expect a more easy transition, however (as far as I know), today's plants are not capable of neural stimulus, rather more primitive methods.
But, who knows?, exactly the opposite could occur. :)

It is hard to say. The reduced gravity allows trees for example to grow massive. If an Earthen plant was introduced that was accustomed to growing conditions of higher gravity, it may be unhindered and exponentially increase in size, allowing it to propagate more easily as well. Plus is is not just light and Carbon Dioxide that are required. Soil conditions need to be suited for the plant. The minerals available must suffice the plant's needs. A root system must also be able to thrive.
