For those curious, Sideshow collectabliles is working on other characters from Avatar, such as Jake and the Banshee.

Question: Will we see a maquette of a Banshee from AVATAR of decent size and detail?

Answer: Very probably, at some point. We’ve found development on AVATAR products to be quite a demanding task, so we’re moving slowly and carefully through Neytiri before beginning on Jake or other characters/creatures. We have high hopes to bring much of Pandora to life in collectible form, though.

Good question. Maybe because they say it is special to make it sound more exciting, to get you to want to buy it I guess. My wife worked at a store that sells mostly these kind of items. I'll ask her when she gets home.

My neyney statue sits with me on my desk so it does get a little dusty. I don't clean her too often cause i'd rather let it get dusty than touch it and break it while trying to clean it.
