The German Fox web site has Sept. 2 as the release date, which is more likely, since movie theaters in Germany have their program change on Thursdays. But still, that is a day to look forward to. I can't wait to see Neyney laugh and frolick through that field, startling all those fan lizards.

I've not heard a single word about them re-releasing it here in Sweden.

I am starting to worry that they won't re-release it here at all and that one will have to travel abroad to see it. :ncry:

No, it's not. The re-release will be shown in almost every 3D screen in America. The same goes for many countries outside of the US.

Sorry Iron, This may seem culturally insensitive but are there any AMC theaters in Canada? Do your movies premiere with the same dates as US releases? Not trying to be ignorant, I honestly don't know and am trying to learn.

We probably do. And I believe our dates are usually the same as the US. Our IMAX sucks balls at updating any of it's **** so that may be why I haven't seen anything on their site.

Fox decided to not re-release it in Sweden, so it sucks for us who live there.

Romania I dont think they will re-release.

As in your countries you have no 20th Century Fox company (like Fox France, Fox Sweden etc.), you dont have a lot of chance to get a re-release.

You have to wait the DVD/Bluray in November :(

Damn it! This is what happened to the DVD here as well. Romania and some other countries got the version with no chance to join the Hometree Initiative and that's one thing but if you don't have the code you can not log in and get special information like those that have it. And now the cinema stuff. I went to see Avatar 5 times in the theaters and I would have done the same now with this extended version but it seems that.....I'll have to go to Russia to see it! :(

I sincerely feel sorry for all of you who have seen Avatar several times. I knew when I first experienced it, 4 months ago, that I shouldn't abuse of anything Avatar (pictures, soundtrack or even the trailer) so the next time I get the chance to see it again, hopefully this friday, it will be as, or even more, marvellous as the very first time. While you are all "watching Avatar once more", I will be completely reviving the experience.
