"James Cameron's "Avatar" took one more lap around the awards track Thursday at the 36th annual Saturn Awards when it picked up 10 trophies, including best science fiction film and best actor and actress honors for Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana."

Well deserved! There is just no stopping Avatar. It's so good to see the film getting this sort of recognition.

Yes congrats, and especialy for acknowledging that the computerised images actually needed capable actors to bring through their expressions and character, well done to all involved.

Niiiiice!! While it's always great to see Avatar and its director, James Cameron, recognized for establishing cinematic benchmarks, it's even better to see Sam, Zoe, Sigourney and Stephen get nods as well. This was a tremendous cast that Cameron put together, and despite the performance capture nature of the film, it was really the actors and actresses, as well as he who directed them, who separated this movie from other high-glitz, CGI-enhanced behemoth movies of late. I'm glad to see them all get kudos and the recognition they deserve at one awards ceremony.
