Neytiri cardboard display

Alright friends, I need your help.

I have cried today when I heard from the DVD store owner that I could not get the 270 cm tall (9 ft) promo display of Neytiri. It is already reserved for someone else.
Here's a picture of it.

He will keep another display for me, one that is alot smaller and has Jake riding his Ikran on it.
I really.. really.. REALLY wanted the Neytiri one. But since nothing could change his mind,
I came to the idea of making one myself!

It won't be 9 feet tall, only like 3 feet probably.
I already have a cardboard that I can use and i'll buy suitable paper and ink for my printer soon.
So all I need now.. is that picture of Neytiri in an as high as possible picture resolution.

Does anyone have a good version that I could use? :nsmile:

I think you should visit the Neytiri picture thread in the characters section, it is sticky. I fyou don't find an awesome pic for your purpose then nowhere.

I saw a high res picture of this somewhere but it was to blurry so it will not look good.

Who is the manufacturer of this stand? I want to contact them and ask for get some.

What about also scouting around some other stores as well, if you haven't already done so, you never know your luck sometimes. Otherwise would E-bay have any for sale?

Most of these people who work there keep it for themself and probably aren't even fans. They just know it's worth money when put on eBay.

That's where I found exactly ONE such display of Neytiri for 50€.
I bought it along with another display for 25€ and will travel 120 kilometers thursday to pick it up. Everything for Neyney! Look at her legs.. ohhh what a gracious cat:in-love:

My room is already very small (+ I have lots of stuff I can't throw away).

Today was the big day! Since I don't own a car and noone was into driving me 120 kilometers to the place of the seller, and since they are too big to ship with postmail,
I had to ride these strange Ikrans. Sky people sometimes call them "train". Had to hop from one wild Ikran to another to reach my destination where I would find Neytiri waiting for me.
It was love at first sight, I admit. The two of us used the Ikran on wheels to reach hometree where I welcomed Ney in my tree-hammock.
Now we are mated for life and she keeps guard next to my bed while I sleep, waiting to welcome me with her mesmerizing smile and enchanting eyes at every dawn of every new day.

*cough* Other than this, I'm really quite normal.

The Neytiri display is 2 meter 42 cm (about 8ft).
Neytiri alone without the bottom part is 1m95 (6.4ft). Still one meter short, but big enough for me lol.

But a little update: Today I walked into the store again where they had the Ney display that I could NOT get, but where they promised me to give me some other standee.
Noticed the standee was gone, so I asked. And there it was, in a storage room. Grabbed it and took the bus home.
Now Jakesuuuuuuuuly is flying his Ikran above my bed.

Put my Guitar Hero drumkit in another room and get rid of some piles of magazines. But Neytiri is worth it. Sorry mate, I don't think I'll ever get sick of Avatar ^^
