It may be a be a bit late to post but it's Hubble after all. After 20 years of operation it's still going!

This is my tribute to the greatest observatory ever made:

Wow, that was a very well made video!

Hubble is so amazing. I recently saw the IMAX 3D Hubble feature, and it was incredible. The images it has captured of the universe really put things in perspective. Earth is like a particle of dust floating around an infinite volume. Our own galaxy is so vast but then there are billions of them.

The cool thing is that out there somewhere there could be a planet like Pandora. Perhaps once Hubble is retired and replaced with the James Webb Space Telescope will be able to see even more of the cosmos. (allthough is will be sad to see Hubble go)

Thanks! ^^

Yeah I gotta see the IMAX 3D Hubble movie, it looks so amazing but I think a lot of people will have this pre-conceived notion that it's going to be some super-space action movie when it's only about the servicing mission 4 and 3D Hubble images.

Too bad Hubble's is retiring in 2012, unless JWST finds Pandora then Hubble is going to be the most well-remebered. :)

I remember seeing the Ultra Deep Field image when I was small, I think that was the spark of my interest in space and sci-fi. :)

Damn, that's beautiful, and you're right it's a special event. Looking into the space let the problems I have appear so small an comparison to this giant cosmos and unexplored universe.
I think Nasa and Esa are two of the most important institutiones on earth, it would unbelievable amazing if Hubble could proof that extraterrestic live is out there.
