You know ghosts would make a nice situation for Avatar. Sure Eywa lets in the na'vi and anyone who she sees as pure, but what of those like Quaritch? And it's said those who die a violent death never rest.

I also love how they use experimental equipment in their searches, my favorite episode was the one at Wolfe Manor with the debut of the UV camera.

This show looks real, if not more real that some other similar shows, like Ghost Hunters-GH looks fake to me, GA doesn't.

Being a paranormal investigator, I do not watch any of these shows because know the truth behind them. I try to tell people, they are just for entertainment purposes and nothing else. Nick and his crew have been called out many times because of the fake crap they have put out. Sadly shows like this are both good and bad for the Paranormal field.

Is anything like what they have seen happen in real life to actual people? TV shows are one thing, but real life scenarios are even more interesting.

Things generally don't happen as you see them on TV. Like for example you will see a lot of the TV shows using a K2 Meter which is a EMF detector but uses lights. You see them use it to "Communicate" with ghosts as they claim lol. They ask them questions and the will light it up lol. The problem with this is the K2 meter is very unreliable is easily effected stuff around such as cell phones,radio signals,and many other things. Its also easy to fake K2 hits because by simply clicking the button on walkie talkie which most all investigators use, it lights up the K2 meter. The K2 has been pushed by a lot of TV shows and everyone thinks its the greatest thing and all they need lol. The fact is it does not work as seen on TV,well atleast not from anything "Paranormal". I hate the damn thing, the only thing its good for as just another EMF detector which mainly use for debunking purposes. Then don't get me going on how most of them are "Dust Chasers" LMAO, using digital cameras and snapping pics and getting pics of dust,bugs,moisture in the air,reflections,etc.. and saying they are "Orbs" LOL. Sorry I will be good and stop my rant there haha :) . The original Ghost Hunters is about the best your gonna get as far as "Ghost Shows" go. But again, its just entertainment. But being a TAPS family member and working with them atleast on they don't chase dust and try to show people the proper ways but again just a TV show.
