Hi guys, I'm in a jovial mood today so I thought I'd start a light-hearted post, in the same vein as the "Avatar Funnies" and "Things You'd Never Hear Avatar Characters Say" posts, both of which I've enjoyed immensely.

The objective of this post is not to be derogatory or mean-spirited; it's simply to take a well-known joke and lovingly apply it to the Na'vi. I'd like to see the extent of people's creativity and sense of humor in trying to think of cute, funny or oddball angles to take.

There's no need to take this post literally (e.g. "Answer: Zero, because the Na'vi don't need light bulbs on Pandora" or "Answer: One, because Na'vi are just as intelligent as humans"). This post merely presents a simple hypothetical situation in which the Na'vi are given the simple task of screwing in a light bulb, without any help from Sky People or humans in avatar bodies (such as Jake), and I'm just curious what kind of creative responses we can come up with.

I'll get the ball rolling with an example:

Question: How many Na'vi does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Answer: Two. One to hold the light bulb and the other to figure out how to make tsahaylu' with it!
(crowd groans)

Ok, so I'm no standup comedian. But I'm sure there are many of you out there who have much better and funnier ideas. I'd love to hear them!

I can assure you I am no troll. Just trying to incite a little harmless fun. And some creative thinking/originality.

Yeah!! That's what I'm talking about. LOL

I knew there were better comedians out there than me.

Anyone else? Anyone have more ideas to share?

Come one, guys. There have to be more funny ideas out there, no? Cute, funny, oddball, bizarre, whatever. Just use your imagination.

All right, here's another lame one:

Question: how many Na'vi does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Answer: Three. One Na'vi to screw the light bulb, one Na'vi to provide extra bulbs in case the first Na'vi is too strong, and a thid Na'vi to clean the mess with a Dustbuster.

Question:How many Na'vi does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

Answer:Two, one to screw it in and the other to try and fiddle with the lightswitch. (big hands, little switch)

This should be in fan made games by the way.

Sempu, I like the way your mind works. I totally did not see that coming.

Luminous, gee, looking at your username I never would have guessed. :ntongue:

Well, since you asked, here's yet another lame attempt to satisfy the customers...

Question: How many Na'vi does it take to screw in a light bulb?
Answer: The entire tribe. Half the tribe to become frustrated and fed up with the fact that the light bulb has to keep being replaced. And the other half of the tribe to decide that it's much simpler to replace the entire light fixture with a couple of bioluminescent octoshrooms.
(crowd boos and demands their money back)

Sorry, that's the best I could come up with on 4 hrs sleep!

I'm game...

Q: What do you call a Na'vi mating with Ninat?
A: Desperate.

Q: Why did the Na'vi cross the road?
A: To get the ball of yarn.

Q: How many Na'vi does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
A: Zero, they keep trying to screw it into their Queue.

Q: How do Na'vi name their children?
A: By the sound they make when their parents smack them against a tree.

That should be enough to get started.... :ndevil:

Thanator vs. Chuck Norris- no contest.

How many Na'vi does it take to screw in a light bulb? None.
Because they wouldn't.
What reason would they see in screwing in a lightbulb?
They would just decree it "ugly sky people stuff" and walk away.

ugly skypeople stuff...i like that. seems there is a lot of ugly skypeople stuff on this planet, and floating in space. did you know there are more than 25,000 man-made objects floating in the 360,000 mile area between Earth and the Moon?! grrrrrrrrrrr

^I would have to disagree here. It is true that there is a mass of garbage surrounding the Earth and sooner than later, we will need to do something about it (I am thinking Space Commercial Salvage as a viable business model). I build things that go on that space junk and there are many craft up there that has my "signiture" on it. Of all the ugly skypeople things in and around our world, there is nothing so beautiful than seeing a Satellite hanging in a High Bay covered in Gold and knowing what went into making it and what benifit it will have for mankind!

1. they don't need or want a human lighting systmem
2. Will there even be any atcual lightbulbs in 2154? exept in a museum?
3. If for some strange reason Neytiri got curious and wanted to see how it worked I would just do if for her.

None, they would look at it, shrug their massive shoulders and grab a Bladder Lantern; "We got light right here, Tawtute!"
